"The greatest thing in this world is not so much where we stand as in what direction we are moving."

Frequently Asked Questions

What is your fee?

Couples therapy is also available for $220 for a 50-minute session or $280 for a 75-minute session.

I currently am contracted with the following insurance companies:

  • Aetna
  • AllSavers UHC
  • Cigna
  • Harvard Pilgrim
  • Optum
  • Oscar
  • Oxford Health Plans
  • UHC Student Resources

What days and times do you take appointments?

I see clients in person and virtually. My virtual sessions are available Monday through Friday during regular business hours with some additional evenings and weekends available. My in-person sessions are offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

How often do we meet?

Sessions are generally held once a week, but may be more or less frequent as needed.

What can I expect in our first session?

In our first session, we have a chance to explore what brought you to therapy, develop a rapport and see how comfortable we feel working together.  As part of this process, you may have additional questions for me, and I will allow time to answer them.

I'm in a graduate program for psychology. Do you offer a reduced rate for students getting personal therapy hours as part of their training?

I appreciate the need for self-knowledge among those who enter our profession. Therapists who have been in therapy themselves are often more empathic and better equipped to distinguish their own issues from those of their clients.  Because I believe in the value of doing one’s own therapy, I offer a certain number of sliding scale spaces for clients getting therapy hours toward licensure.
